Cube CAD Center is an Authorized CAD Training Center Offers CADD Courses.

The Leading Institute of Ahmedabad In Design.

  • In this program student can learn mechanical design, automobile design, product design along with reverse engineering & value engineering.

  • Reverse Engineering means the reproduction of another manufacturer's product following detailed examination of its construction or composition.

  • Hardware reverse engineering involves taking apart a device to see how it works. For example, if a processor manufacturer wants to see how a competitor's processor works, they can purchase a competitor's processor, disassemble it, and then make a processor similar to it. However, this process is illegal in many countries. In general, hardware reverse engineering requires a great deal of expertise and is quite expensive.

  • The Value Methodology (VM) is a systematic and structured approach for improving projects, products and processes. VM, which is also known as value engineering, is used to analyze and improve manufacturing products and processes, design and construction projects, and business and administrative processes.

  • VM helps achieve an optimum balance between function, performance, quality, safety and cost. The proper balance results in the maximum value for the project.

  • Value is the reliable performance of functions to meet customer needs at the lowest overall cost and it can be calculated like this:

  • Value = Function/Cost

  • Function is what the product or service is supposed to do.

  • Cost is the expenditure needed to create it.

  • Another type of reverse engineering involves producing 3D images of manufactured parts when a blueprint is not available in order to remanufacture the part. To reverse engineer a part, the part is measured by a coordinate measuring machine (CMM). As it is measured, a 3-D wire frame image is generated and displayed on a monitor. After the measuring is complete, the wire frame image is dimensioned. Any part can be reverse engineered using these methods.

  • Product Design is a process of creating a new product that can be used in daily life.

  • Product design is to create a new product that an enterprise sells to its customers. Through a process that leads to new products, a very broad coefficient and effective creativity and development.

  • Designing a product is not simple. While companies may come up with many different ideas for new products, not all of them are unique or profitable, not all ideas work, all of which are important when creating new products.

Course Objectives

  • The first phase of the product design process is the creative creation phase, the process of developing new concepts to create products.

  • Once all the ideas have been created, the company must determine the viability of the product, which involves determining whether the product can actually be produced and whether it can be profitable.

  • Now that the product has a prototype, it is ready for product testing, including letting people actually use the product to determine if it is really effective and making recommendations for changes and/or improvements.

Career Opportunities & Placement

  • Design and production are separate.

  • Products use a variety of complex materials and technologies.
